In a year of Antarctic film screenings, exhibitions and research events, the National Film and Sound Archive of Australia celebrates the centenary of Sir Douglas Mawson's Australasian Antarctic Expedition and 100 years of Australian audio visual records in the world's harshest environment.
Blizzards, radio waves, penguins, gramophone records and film makers - this exhibition offers a rare insight into Mawson's expedition.
