Busker James Kite is currently working on a panorama to commemorate the centenary of the Australasian Antarctic Expedition. Featuring Douglas Mawson, James is hand-drawing the panorama, working in popular busking spots around Sydney. You can find James at locations such as Martin Place, Pitt St. Mall, the Queen Victoria Building forecourt and near Event Cinemas on George St, depending on weather.

James expects to complete the panorama in the second week of January, but will display it alongside the next drawing he is working on, until 3 February 2012.

James is running a competition for people to guess the correct title of the work. Visit James' website for details, and his public fanpage for images of his progress.

Once completed, a video will also be uploaded.
